How can I improve the look of my rig

I didn't know where I should post this but now everything hardware wise is getting done so I want to improve the looks of my rig.

In two weeks I'm getting a water block for my GPU and some nice fittings. Next month I will get a new radiator and I was thinking about getting some clear tubing and some awesome mayhems premix. My theme is green so in the bottom there will be some green lighting but if I replace my UV tubing then UV lights might not be necessary. What do you think? Should I just stick with UV green tubing and get some more UV lights or go for mayhems and maybe change the lighting somehow?

This is how my rig looks at the moment.

Looks good to me. I dont think there would be much to improve on beside the bare wires coming fron the optical cage. Great looking build.

The bare wires will disappear when I get my new rad because I will not be needing the silver fan controller in the front that looks terrible...

I agree

To make this rig absolut perfect, you could change the remaining no green led fans like the withe one in the right bottom corner , depending on your skills you also could make a cover hiding ervything in the basement.

I hope you get a black gpu block.

I'm getting green acrylic plate to hide the bottom part on friday, a black fan to replace the white one tomorrow, a black GPU block in 2 weeks and a tube res which will be external with the radiator and a black fan with UV reactive green blades to replace the black one in the back next month

sounds fantastic

Nice looking rig at the moment a few suggestions, that I would look at doing.

- Hide/replace the UV cold cathodes, they provide the best effect when not seen. Could change them for UV Phobya LED FlexLight which would allow you to get rid of the inverter and provide better UV coverage around the case. (If you were to replace the green tubing, they would no longer be needed.)

- If I were you I would replace the green tubing for clear and fill with Mayhems Aurora Extinction green coolant, would look awesome.

- Maybe put some green LEDs in the Raystorm

- Maybe get some angled fittings in there to help with tubing neatness.

- Put a tube res in, something like EK multioption res 250 with white LED's to highlight the mayhems coolant, not sure if the LED's would pass through aurora though?

- Change all the fans to something like Bitfenix Spectres in green, as the LED's aren't to bright but would add a nice touch, very quiet as well, both the 140 and 120mm fan mounts.

- Ditch all cold cathodes and replace with LED strips (No need to hide the inverters) like the below in either white/green to light up the case, make sure they are hidden for the best effect. (Tom did a review on both the Bitfenix LED strips and the Bitfenix spectres would be worth a look at.)

- Maybe put a custom vinyl sticker on the midplate?

- Braid/hide the fan controller cables.

Hope this helps give you some ideas. I will look forward to seeing the improvements.

I'm getting a 60cm UV led strip, tube res, phobya xtreme nova 1080 rad, a radiator stand, 140mm fan for the back with green UV reactive blades and some sleeve kits next month. In two weeks I'm getting 45° and 90° fittings, quick relese fittings, black EK water block and a backplate for my GPU and when all that arrives, the res in the front and the silver fan controller will disappear

buy a can of compressed air bro and clean that metal seems a bit dirty inside

Why a can of compressed air? Me blowing in it would be more effective... This is what I use to blow out the dust inside.

And I changed the white fan for a black one, added some lights in the bottom and got my acrylic plate ready but I need a dremel to make a slot in the back so I can slide it in...

Green lights on the acrylic looks fabulous!

Tube reservoir would be in place in such a big case

especially if you're going to externalize the radiators, otherwise it might look empty.

Hide every not-black-or-green-wire or sleeve them.

Make front look cleaner (get rid op bay res, get tube res

)

Just my opinion ^^ looks good already
