I stumbled across it looking at Magny Cours.
I'm actually rather annoyed at AMD. An eight core MC can be had for around £210. I almost considered actually buying one. However, the kick in the nuts is that the cheapest board (Asus something) is £380 min and has two slots.
I don't understand why AMD can't consolidate their chipsets. IIRC that socket for MC is G34. Intel's Xeons fit in 1366 boards so why the heck can't they just consolidate to one socket so desktop users can stop getting bloody skanked?
Honestly, why would you take a weak lame X6 with hardly bugger all cache when you could take an eight core monster with tons of cache for the same cash?
AMD were originally shot to stardom because of the original Opteron that went straight into a 939 board. It could then be overclocked to 3ghz on air. Dumb thing was at the same time they were doing an FX cpu for double the price that was the same thing only clocked higher out of the box
What's even more annoying is that 'bulldozer' is pretty much bull sh*t. I remember years and years ago a friend of mine (who is no longer here

If you ever want to know what you're getting in your desktop next year then simply look at the server market.
