high temps with w/c setup

Hi guys, noob watercooler here.

I have the following setup
raystorm cpu block, rx360 + rx240 rads, D5 vario pump set at 3, 2 x heatkiller full cover blocks for 2 x hd7970. Coolant is EK clear/colourless. I am running an Asus z68 board with 2700K cpu, Hale1000w PSU and 16 Gb of Vengeance 1600 ram. rad fans are bitfenix spectre pros running at low speed using an nzxt sentry fan controller.

With everything running at stock with zero overclock I get good temps on the video cards for the gpu's and vrms (~55C), however I get slowly escalating temps on the CPU and coolant when gaming. i.e. 60C+ on the cpu and 45C+for the coolant temp after an hour or so of BF3. coolant temp is measured after going from the 240 rad before going into the gpus. The airflow in my switch 810 comes in from the front and the bottom where the 240 rad is, and up and out the top where the 360 is. Rear fan is also set to input also.

I at first thought maybe the cpu block wasn't sat right so I resat it (MX4) bit that had no effect. In any case even if it wasn't sat right it doesn't explain the high coolant temp ( I assume 45C is high for coolant?). Turning the fans up to full is of course loud and the temps don't seem that much better.

Do you guys have any ideas?

I have also ran OCCT for 30 mins to see what the cpu temps were like here. 55C after 30 mins.

Nothing seems wrong. Coolant temps are useless until it reaches equilibrium with everything it makes contact with. Which it doesn't because it's getting cool through the rads and then goes into 3 blocks that have different temps so it's constantly changing. Never watercooled before but this is just from my current knowledge of the subject.

I agree, there's nothing wrong with 55°C. There's a lot of stuff being cooled, and of course the coolant gets warmer when it's under load, the components are producing more heat.

have you got the front filter mesh in front of the 240 rad?
I found that pretty damaging to airflow and thus temps on mine, so have left it off.
