High Refresh Rate and Games

So a question to our resident refresh rate fans, Which games tend to see the greatest difference from high refresh rate monitors, Is it only CS, Quake etc... ?

you can see the difference in pretty much any game. it will be most noticeable in fps games though

Racing games and FPS games benefit the most, but you can tell the difference in pretty much every game.

Thanks peeps.

Well so far I've tried Crysis 1, 2, 3, Grid 1, 2, 3 and UT3, UT3 seems to get the most benefit from it.

Also Seekax didn't you mention something a while ago about overclocking your mouse polling rate ? You think this could be done with a corsair M95 ?

Can't you change your polling rate with the driver? Well, most drivers are crap anyways, so if you want to try it, here's the tutorial.

Tried playing BF4 and for some reason at 144Hz my card stays at idle clocks

*EDIT*

Never mind fixed it, Origin in game apparently is a little bugged from the last patch, Turning it off fixed it.

CSGO is a rediculous game when it comes to weapon accuracy. A 144Hz monitor (or a 60hz one with 1ms response time) is crucial for high ranked competitive players. A couple of miliseconds can mean life or death

The monitor I just got is 144Hz and 1ms but I've only really noticed the difference in 1 or 2 games, Most I haven't noticed any change what so ever.

I just OC'd my panel from 60hz to 75hz. Took like 4 minutes? I can't really tell much a difference but I'll play some games right now to see if i can notice anything.

Edit: Played WoT. I can see a slight increase but the screen tears(v sync is off) but my FPS is lower than the 75hz my monitor does. Oh i had to change the refresh rate in the settings.. :p No more tearing but when I alt + tab it takes much much longer.

Ya in conclusion even playing Asseto Corsa i can't even tell the difference in smoothness. Only occasionally in certain parts of the games i played i would notice but that's about it.
