Currently trying to decide whether to go for 32 or 64 bit Vista.

Was running Cubase SX3, Propellerhead Reason 4 on XP on laptop til it died....

Have a new rig (finally)

Haven't bought a new game since Orange Box so looking forward to that. Plus should be able to finish DOOM 3 (which ground to a halt on the laptop halfway through!), start Bioshock (which I haven't got yet) and generally get back into gaming. I've heard CRYSIS is quite good?

I like any FPS

Bioshock is good, as is Call of Duty 4 and 5.

Crysis is good, although likely to bring most rigs to their knees

He means CoD 4 and 5 Personally I didn't find 5 any good, just a WWII version of 4 with a worse story.

The new rig

Hi,

Nearly got the new rig going. Case arrived this morning, with cracked top vent and broken RHS catch. Nice man on 'phone said he can claim the cost back from Citylink and will give me a refund for the case...

Now I know I should have put this together myself, but I costed it up and I couldn't get it cheaper as this is a customer returned unit (and I'm skint)
