Hi! I am Merlin, otherwise known as Bigian88's Dad and the creator of Retr0bright, the wonderfully caustic chemical goop that returns discoloured, yellowed retro computer cases back to their former glory. My overclocking experience goes waaayyyy back to the heady days of 486 DX and DX2 processor, through the various Celerons of the 1990s (Malaysian Celerons rocked in overclocking terms)and I have successfully overclocked a Celeron D352 to 4Ghz on the stock cooler.

I have also hacked CF 'hard drives' and DVD drives onto Commodore Amigas and I am an Admin at AmiBay, the retro computing trading and hacking forum.

I am here to bring my knowledge up to date as to what current overclocking activity is going on with the latest CPUs and GPUs.

Hey, I'm seriously old-school when it comes to PC, right back as far as 386 SX-25 processors and CGA/EGA graphics. I even still have my old 4Mb Voodoo 1 and 12Mb Voodoo 2 graphics cards.

As you know Ian, I used to be into all sorts of hackery and tweakery when it came to PCs and lately, I have got out of touch with recent developments. Understanding and applying hackery to my 'new' Phenom II rig has awoken my interest in this subject again.
