help overclocking this build

this is my 1st AMD system and we're together for about a month now.

AMD Phenom II 1090T BE

Asus Crosshair IV Formula

Noctua NH-D14

Dominator GT 9-9-9-24 (dual-chanel) 2x2gb 1866Mhz

Corsair TX950w

OCZ Vertex 2 120GB SSD, Samsung F3 1TB

Black NZXT Phantom

Sapphire Radeon HD6950s on crossfire

problem is im new to overclocking, and i am not sure how. i understand that its a trial-and-error process but not sure the proper procedures. so what are the possibilities and how do i achieve them?

-Get all your sub 4ghz stability tests done before rushing into anything higher.

-Don't go past 1.45v as a rule.

-Moderate overclocking for the mobo side of things.

-Your chip could be capable of anything from 3.8 to 4.4 in most cases.

-Keep cpu temps below 55, 60 at max
