Help me decide

Using hardwarian magic, I have calculated the theoretic voltages different frequencies for my components will need based on what they are drawing now. Trouble is, these are quite high and safety/ durability are starting to affect my clocking, so I'd like some help choosing frequencies.

On a 1090t + Crosshair IV

Currently

CPU @4Ghz @1.48v

CPU/ NB @3024Mhz @1.37v

HT @2592 @1.31v

Proposed

CPU @4.1Ghz @1.5v

CPU/ NB @3240Mhz @1.4v

HT @2808 @1.345v

___________

CPU @4.2Ghz @1.525v

CPU/ NB @3456Mhz @1.435v

HT @3024Mhz @1.38v

___________

CPU @4.3Ghz @1.54v

CPU/ NB @3672Mhz @1.47v

HT @3240Mhz @1.415v

___________

So, what do you think is most likely to work and last 24/ 7?

I would stick with the 4GHz as pushing over 1.5 for long periods is suicide for the cpu also iirc somewhere I read that you want to keep ur cpu/nb and ht the same MHz as they really dont play alot into performance anything over 2500MHz is a waste I'll have to check and see if I can locate that post I saw on it. but its funny I can get 4,0GHz on my 1090T with only 1.38volts and 4.2GHz with 1.4volts and 4.5GHz with 1.525volts

Don't worry I just tested 222x18.5> 4.1Ghz, cpu/nb 3.3Ghz @1.41 and NB 1.1 @1.15 and it wouldn't even post. Definately done clocking this rig now but thanks for the reply mate

well bro I went back and tried to find the other posts where I saw that info and found totally different stuff maybe I recalled wrong lol. Which is possible as I cant seem to find sleep lately. But those that I just read said that cpu/nb tweaking is good but ht is best at 2000MHz or in range to 2400MHz as no noticeable improvements on performance above that. I run mine at 250fsb x16 for 4GHz and mem at 1667MHz with cpu/nb and ht at 2500MHz might have to play with it more and see what I can do lol but as tired as I am I'm not doing it now lol would prolly burn it down on accident.

Every single NB increment has made a difference and yeah I can confirm that 2.4 is where noticable HT improvements stop and start to dwindle beyond that, but the claim that increasing it decreases performance is BS from all of my tests. As for your voltages congratz, if only every 1090 were like that

true dat I'll have to redo my oc and see where I started losing points. Yeah I prolly got a slightly better binned chip than you

I'm game for retrying lol

And why not sleep while prime runs?

the problem is falling asleep first as tired as I am sleep is eluding me badly the last 2-3 weeks. I'm lucky if I get 2-4hrs a night

I get 4-5hrs and occassionaly 2-4hrs. Then very rarely I don't sleep at all.

you are not going to see much difference in a change of 0.3GHz on a T-Series at the top end, unless you are benching

4.1GHz will be fine for what you want to use it for

Last time I put NB 1.1 to 1.5,

BUS to 222Mhz,

Vcore to 1.481,

CPU/ NB to 3.3Ghz,

CPU/ NB voltage to 1.41 - these settings combined did not POST

Do you think if I leave the CPU/ NB where it is currently stable I should be able to get the BUS, NB 1.1 and Vcore to where I wanted them?
