Help get the Parents of this Video Hung.

Somebody posted this you tube video onto facebook, And my Misses saw it and Went absolutly nuts. And So did I i think this is absolutly discusting to allow this to go on, and film it because they think this is funny.

The parents of this child should Be Hung for filming this, The child is clearly in pain and screaming for help. And actualy takes matters into his own hands by trying to hit the cat. A natural reaction.

As a Father of a 14 month old, And a cat and dog owner. I fined it very important for my children to grow up to respect animals.

Now there is something rather wrong with this video on a number of reasons. Why is this Child allowed to play with a cat In an agressive manner, as lets face it Cats will normaly run from children due to there nature, Why is the cat Allowed near the child. And why the hell do the parents or gardians of this child at the time think it is funny to Film the event rather than seperate the child and cat from each other.

I do agree that it is rather disgusting but really "The parents of this child should Be Hung for filming this", I am very much against capital punishment for any crime so for someone to say that people should be killed for bad parenting to me is just ridiculous, Just saying

If capitol punishment was still in force are prisons wouldnt be a drain on the eccony and the the scum of this country would be in much shorter supply. Just saying!

However topic of the title saying Should be hung is more of a term of speach rather than a suggested punishmeant. What where they trying to do, top up their spending money buy filming there child being bitten repeatadly by a animal that is following animal instinct. The cat is just following instinct and the child has not been shown how to properly treat a animal. All this boils down to the parents or Guardian of this child, Social services should be sent in straight away.

America uses capital punishment but yet they have the highest percentage of population behind bars

Oh my god, that was terrible abuse of a cat there and the baby had no idea what it was doing. The parents disgust me for just laughing and not going in to intervene.

Better not show this to my Dad (Cats protection member) or he'll go nuts.

The cat did get a pretty big whack, to be fair. I'm not saying the child didn't get hurt either of course. Just emphasising that they should no longer be allowed to own a cat.

agreed get the cats protection involved they might do a better job of tracking down the parents of child services.

i think this just got a bit out of hand tbh, cats like to play and it hurts we know this but the baby does not so when he hits the cat it get annoyed and you know the rest.

the parents arent the most responsable ever but the child aint get hurt badly, i got hurt more then that playin on my bike outside as a kid!

also the cat will be fine all this Rspca stuff is bollox hes not abusing his cat, unleess he's hitting it and not feeding it etc but in that video the cat is playing at first at least.

am not saying this is OK to do because its not, but i think people are over reacting a bit much considering the child and the cat were ok.

like i said i think this was fun but got out of hand and once the parent realized this they stopped recording.

Capital punishment is something that's decided per state. My state doesn't allow capital punishment for example. 34 states out of 50 allow the death penalty. 16 states do not.

I'm in total agreement with you. As I parent I wouldn't do what they did, but I wouldn't call that child (or animal) abuse. The kid was crying, yes, but the cat wasn't leaving any marks or drawing blood...it really wasn't as bad as it looked or sounded.

This is a prime example that natural selection is failing us.

Stupid parents let their child continue on with behavior that is unsafe for their child for their amusement. A cat can hurt adults when you abuse it, so a child is no match for it. But if the cat defends itself like it did, it's the innocent animal that is blamed or punished for hurting the human child which was abusing it.

My cat gets in some pretty good licks when I'm picking at it but I never abuse it and when he catches me I take as I deserve it for picking at him, but I would never let a child do as I do because a child dosen't understand that it can mess him if he continues abusing it.

I don't blame the cat it was doing what a cat does, the child doesn't know that the cat could mess him up.

there are 2 ways for him to find out, one was like in the video, second was for the parents to teach him, by explaining what could happen, and protect him from getting mauled once he started abusing the cat ,buy removing the animal and explaining what he did wrong.

Capital punishment to one side, not getting involved in that discussion.

The parents of that child should have him taken away by social services and the cat taken to a feline rescue centre. That was wrong on so many levels, those parents/guardians are a complete and utter disgrace.
