Arrgh, I`ve searched and can`t find it.
Some1 had a problem where they wanted to do something like using 1 nic to do one kind of task, leaving the other for something else - like file share on one and `net on the other. (not exactly that)
XMS came along and posted about an admin/sys tool where u could either set a preference or assign it or similar.
Now I`m wanting to do this and I can`t find the freakin thread. I know I looked at it at work, but using my normal login and couldn`t change stuff.. and now I`m home and want to do something similar..
Issue I have is 2 nics in a pc, 1 x 100b & 1x 1000b, use the faster for file moving and tell the other to do i`net access. Only sometimes stoopid winows looks at the nics and decides the slowest one is best to use as the faster one should be left doing nothing !!?!
If can`t find thread, I`m sure some1 else can remember the admin tool to look at, I can`t >.<
