Hello

Ian

New member
Thought I'd write a quick intro and only about 2 weeks after I first posted here (sorry!). I've had some excellent advice from you all and so I figured I may stay around to pick a few more things up ;-) As well as the graphics card help you provided, I've also just bought a new monitor based on the advice given on another thread :D

Word of warning, I am not an OCer by any stretch of the imagination, in fact just putting my graphics card in and setting up my wireless router were about the limit of my expertise. Please bear with me if I occasionally ask really dumb (really very dumb) questions but you all seem to know your stuff and I trust you all now :worship:

Welcome mate. Everyone is welcome here regardless of their background...and we don't pick on the new guy (much) ;)

By reading the forums and following your curiosity, you will more than likely start fiddling with your BIOS and attempt overclocking :)

Ahh, that's how we all start out. Not a clue in the world, and a hint of curiosity, you'll become an overclocker yet!

Also, Welcome to the community :)

Welcome to our humble forum Ian :) No overclocker prerequisite required here...of course you'll more than likely become addicted along the way :p

Welcome,

I joined up not too long ago also, its been a good few weeks here and i'm sure you'll enjoy your stay. There a nice bunch and very helpful.

This is your local skinhead saying "Welcome to the forum!". :wavey:

That cracked me up! Anyways...

Welcome Ian :wavey:

When I joined I was building my first pc, I didn't have a clue!

All I knew is I wanted to overclock and got a water cooling kit from the get go.

These guys helped me then and continue to do so now even now.
