Newbie here, just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself - name Rick and I've been a console fan for the last 10 yrs but last year decided to change to PC's and to build my own, so started my reaserch around Oct, then heard CES, Kaby lake were just around the corner then heard AMD Zen is out Q1 2017, so after months of reaserch on various components I'm still undecided and could do with some advice from some experts.....
I want this rig to do - couch gaming / VR / HTPC / web browsing so it will be in the living room connected to the TV and a separate monitor.
I have purchased the following items
Case - Jonsbo UMX4 - not mainstream but fell in love with it
Psu - Evga supernova 650 G2
SSD - Crucial 2.5" MX300 750 gb - got on Amazon for £100 on black fri
xbox Elite controller
Logitech driving force GT steering wheel
that's it... so my problem is where do I go from here?
I was looking at the MSI Z270 gaming 5 £193.99 with a free M.2 256gb Ssd and a £30 credit from MSI if you publish a review - I love deals! Pair this with the Kaby i5
I'm itching to get this thing built....... but should I wait to see what Zen delivers?
