Heatsink clearance

Hey will the Thermalright XP-120 (http://www.newegg.com/product/Produc...82E16835109118) fit on the Asus A8N-SLI Premium (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131540) without blocking my Corsair XMS ram with LED activity lights (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145594)? The ram is about a half inch taller than normal ram. Thanks

No the RAM won't fir underneath the heatsink I don't think

Have you seen the SI-120 - that will fit

yea im ghosts from the BFG forums. oh yea and i ordered my parts, the list can be found in the BFG hardware forum (as im on my PSP and cant list it )

because i have dual channel ram 1 stick has to go a bit further than the other and this caused a lil problem with the xp-120 but it does fit with some persuasion,if your getting a twinx kit then it will sit tight underneath the xp120 but the leds can still be seen throught the xp120 and fan.

You're better off just to be safe and get some standard height RAM so you can sleep worry free at night about it fitting properly.
