Hi there,

After waiting some time for my cpu cooler to arrive I have finally got it installed! Mind you there was hardly any room to get my fingers on those stupid push pins but I think its installed ok!

Heres the specs;

E8500 processor running at 3.3ghz with OCZ Vendetta 2 cooler

Nvidia 790i ultra Mobo

Corsair Dominator Ram 1800mhz 2x2gb with Dominator cooler

BFG GTX280 OC graphics card

Maxtor 500gb HD 7200rpm 32mb cache

Corsair HX620 PSU

All housed in a Silverstone TJ07 case.

Heres some pics as I was putting her back in place after much shouting and swearing at the OCZ!

wow thats a smart p.c caes one fing tho white dvd-drives in a black caes,

get some black dvd-drives will make it look the best.

Ouch. Those drives really hurt, the rest of the rig looks quite good :) You could also use some tiewraps on the cabling.

I wouldn't know how to hide those dvd drives though... You could also purchase new ones with black plates or spray your current plates.

nicely done hazzy p ....please get rid of the beige ...arrrggghhh :D

mmm, gorgeous looking rig...

Only slightly bad bit... THE BEIGE???

more sales swale?! Dont stay with much long do ya!

I agree the beige drives looks daft and I may spray them, good suggestion.

I farted on with the cables for ages and ages and just cant get them to look good!

Mind you I spend ages rearranging the fans so the back suck air in and exhausts out the top, well that all went to pot when I realised the damn OCZ fan blows left thru the heatsink! So I had no real air flow due to air hitting both sides of the HS so rather than take it off (took an ages and a real ***** with the push pins) I decided to change the fans again! So another load of time and cuts later its now back to the way it was!

Anyways the cpu temps are down from 50 idle, 75 full load (orthos) using stock cooler to 30 idle, 40 full load (orthos for 2 hours)

Great!

Cheers fellas!

nice rig dude, TJ07 is beautifull, thinking of doing any wc in next years? if so save this case dude it rocks :D

about the drives, paiting them wont interfere when opening it? (some things just dont work right when painted x.x ) and also drivers are cheap nowadays so at least you save some bucks from spray cans

edit. forgot also TJ07 has good cable management try zip ties they help alot, but in my opinion your rig already look clean enougth

Cheers guys.

Got no idea about watercooling at all, but at the mo. the big bad OCZ is keeping things at 42c under crysis so im pretty happy wit that!

Might get some cable ties onto some bits, but I dont think its that bad in there.

Thanks for the replies, opinions always helpful to me.
