having UPS issues

My folding machine keeps stopping because my UPS is going bad. I need to buy a new one but don't really want to spend the money right now. I have been speeding way to much money lately. I bought some Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition fans. I put them onto my KÜHLER H₂O 920 and the temps dropped about 4-5c. And the noise is a lot better too. I can't believe how well these fans are doing. I about to setup a new AMD dual cpu machine for folding. I can't put a graphic card in it because it is a BTX motherboard and can only support a single slot card which I had a 8800GT in there. The problem is that I had to buy a new power supply to run it. But the power supply no longer works so I have to put the original Dell power supply in it which only has SATA power connectors. I wonder how many points I will get throm the AMD dual core cpu. I took the face off the back of my HD4850 and fit it inside a BTX case on a mobo it was almost touching the heatsink though seeing it was a dual slot GPU
