Didn't work for me either I am still going to fart around with it a bit and see what I can do I am going to try all the software and see if it helps different cables and mobo's but need better pictures of a mach 2 control board it could be the revision of board it could be a component soldered onto the control board to restrict data flow from the usb I want to know whats inside the blue plastic box (I think its just the timer delay cct for the start up proceedure) try and keep you all posted

well i dont know if i connected it right, i nearly connected it to some other pegs in the prommy, but i did once get 5 unknown devices in device manager so somthing was detected loaded the win driver but it said usb failed.

Cant you just swap the control board, thats the only diff isnt it, if so i will have to go looking for the boards or more interestingly some dead mach 2's i have seen 1 or two people say they killed there's, think that'd work?

yep it should just be a control board - try it and see you have nothing to loose.
