I paid less than this for an embody that had been completely retrimmed, so was new.

It's the best chair I've ever sat in.

Well I get what you mean, but none of these companies making computer parts make the chairs. They buy them from a Chair manufacturer and slap their name on it.

I have a secret Labs chair. I love it. Different from the gaming brands. I only wish it had softer arm rests but not a big deal I don't use them often.

Personally im amazingly impressed with my Noble Chair Epic. Call it what you want but my back has never felt better. My companies office chairs are terrible. This one is great.

Personally im amazingly impressed with my Noble Chair Epic. Call it what you want but my back has never felt better. My companies office chairs are terrible. This one is great.

... Noblechair, it's owned by the same company as overclockers, probably a subsidiary or something, bugs me how they push it as a seperate brand on their site a lot, but it's their own product.. bit anti-competitive if you ask me.

I got a second hand Humanscale Freedom (with headrest) for £300 and it was in immaculate condition.

If you're gonna pay that for a gaming chair you'd be much better of paying for a second hand Herman Miller or similar task chair.

Much more comfortable, better ergonomics and better build quality imo.

I loved my one of those. It was bloody great. Sadly I broke the arm mech on day two and it got worn hard. Like I was working and then sitting in it and stuff and it got all grubby and dirty. Plus it was sky blue, which didn't fit my new flat at all.

I nearly bought another, but the Herman Miller had been on my radar for ages. I don't regret it. Every time someone sits on that embody they go "ahhhh!".

I have an Aeron not an Embody but I completely agree with AlienALX here.

Don't necessarily have to splash out on a Herman Miller but for goodness sake buy a well made ergonomic chair over a "gaming" chair. Your body will thank you!
