Has anyone used PhysX?

There is nothing really out that uses the PhysX card to it's full potential (Is GRAW the only game?) Right now it seems as though you can use your money on something else until more games make the PhysX card worthwhile.

I think by the time there are enough games out that support PhysX the technology will either be built into GPU's (maybe CPU's) or will have advanced so far that the original PhysX cards will be outdated.

Someone hasn't been reading the news. But I agree with Jim's statement. PhysX cards have had their day, the technology will be built into the GPU or card itself.

I've used it. Pretty cool fun stuff, but unless the Unreal engine uses it a LOT and people buy it for that it's not gonna take off :(

Not exactly dead so to say. Like i said in the other thread relating to PhysX they wernt given a very good chance. GRAW was an extremely disapointing game for PhysX cards, and they where just overpriced. They where also lagged by the crappy PCI bus. Hopefully, if another game implements the use of PhysX cards, they will drop the price and maybe create one for PCI-E 16x/8x.

haha I always read the news, I meant that is GRAW the only game that is actually out right now that supports it. If more companies do as NetDevil is, than it may be pushed back into the spotlight. But I agree with XMS, by the time they do start using PhysX more, the need for a separate card dedicated for it will probably be outdated.
