Hardware Free to good home

Hi guys.

I was given an old server tower today, and it wasn't worth trying to sell.

I've taken the processors (dual xeon) for keyrings and binned the waste.

I kept the following:

4x 80mm Turbine fans

8x Seagate Cheetah SCSI 10k.7

6x Hynix 512mb Server RAM

1x ATI Fire GL GPU

1x WD 320gb Caviar Blue HDD

2x Solid Copper Headsink (Weigh about a Kilogram each lol)

The items in bold and underlined are going free to a good home, or whoever wants them. You will have to pay delivery.

This is most likely the wrong place to post this but meh. Post below for any more info you need. Heres a nice picture.

Dude, do you have the specs of that server RAM? Is it DDR2? If so how much would the postage be? TIA.

If funkymonkey doesnt end up taking the drives ill have them off you if thats cool, been looking for some drives to raid for my minecraft server to save me buying a damn ssd for it as the ramdrive isnt playing nicely any more.

Ye no probs. I'll grab something to send them in. More than likely wont cost you anything if i can find an anti-static bag.

You two do realise they're SCSI yeh?
 
I do, but turns out the scsi to sata bits i had are either not working or both of the 2 drives i tested them with dont work any more so ill back out, cheers for offering them up tho.

Dude, thank you very much for the offer of the RAM, as I intended to put it into an old server to help with folding. However I've tested it out and its just too slow for folding. So I'll let the RAM pass to someone else, but thanks very much.
