Half Life 2 Aftermath preview and Q&A at Gamespot

This is one thing I'm hugely looking forward to. I love Half Life 2 (except for the random endin) and I'm hoping this thing's gonna be great

entirety of the episode is set in City 17, and the driving force is the fact that, thanks to Gordon's actions at the end of Half-Life 2, the Citadel is about to give up the ghost in such a way that anyone left in the city will be killed.

Well that sounds pretty damn good. I loved the City 17 parts of HL2 and some of the battles were immense!

Many of the Half-Life 2 characters will be returning in some form or another, including Dog. In some cases, such as Alyx, those characters have learned new things that have interesting gameplay repercussions.

Well cool - Alyx was a good charactor and Dog's pretty cool. I'm hoping for some excellent staged battls like the last one. Interacting with Alyx is a good thing and its good to send squads of people ahead of you

HDR will be used so that should be great news. This title has got to look great - Half Life 2 looked excellent enough, but HDR on Half Life 2
