The Phantom is the worst case I have ever seen for airflow.
My friend has one with a Guerilla and a 460 2win. His PC kept shutting down. Then we find the GPU is reaching temps in excess of 90c.
So, we go to fit a side fan. Only with an NH-D14 in there we find that NZXT's fan won't fit on account of being 30mm thick. NP, order a 20mm thick Xigmatek, only to find that NZXT have monopolised the fan mountings and you can only fit an NZXT fan in there.
So you either bust out the drill (which he won't do) or you get to ghetto rigging. So we opted for the rig using a how to he found here, fan keeps falling off.
I think pissed off would be an understatement, and I don't like things that aren't standard to conform with other parts.
That rules out the Phantom IMO..
HAF = ugly and common.
Fractal R3 is a great case. Raven is a great case. Arc is a great case. But those Phantoms are all look over function and should be avoided.
I'd rather have a Shinobi if I'm honest, and save yourself a pile of cash for other nice things.
