This is my current rig that I built for gaming and 3d work.
Current Specs
H440 Blue trim
Asus X99 Deluxe
Intel Core i7 5930k
32GB DDR4 Crucial Ballistix
Asus 980 Strix
500GB Samsung Evo SSD
1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
Fractal Design s36 AIO
Corsair AX1200i
3 Corsair AF120 with white trim
Originally I had a 7970 gpu and Corsair 1000w psu but they both died after 5
years of service. Also ran a Noctua nh-d15 before getting the s36.
My parts arrived.
As I had a HDD, PSU, and GPU already these were my first new items for my build.
I had held out for the H440 in blue for my Blue and white theme.
Noctua nh-d15 unboxed.
The lovely Asus X99 Deluxe, I wanted this board for the wireless AC and for asus socket for overclocking. Also the board had M.2 for future upgrading.
CPU in the motherboard and the motherboard in the H440.
I want for 32GB of DDR4 Ballistix ram, this maybe overkill for a gaming pc but is very useful for 3D work and I have managed to use 28GB of the ram form time to time.
Ram in, which suits the build well, I couldn't get any white ram as DDR4 was very new at the time.
SSd and 7970 in the case. This is were the build photos stopped unfortunately.
I do have more up-to-date photos below.
I have it currently overclocked at 4.2GHz. I plan on making a custom water cooling loop and sleeving the cables but its having time to not have the pc running for a few days to do this.
Hope you like my build.
