I got an Antec kuhler h2o 620, witch works great. But i have noticed that my fan only stays at 1440rpm max, i thought it was supposed to give 2k rpm at max? I have disable fan monitoring in my bios etc, when enabled it gives to little power to the pump and it starts making alittle sound, the fan only runs at 600-700 as well, up to 1440 where the pump sound vanish.

Any who can help? Prob would get alittle better "timps" when blowing more trough, sound isnt an issue

My mb is 870a-ud3 rev 2.1

Please help anyone:-)

Edit: I figured it out. It was the pump that was on 1400rpm, the fan follows the pump rpm

how do you increase the pump speed i have the same cooler

You dont increase the pump speed. What you do is disable everything in bios that conserns fans options. Then your pump will run on 1400rpm( that is what shows in hwmonitor etc) and the pump will adjust the speed of the fan automatic from 1400rpm to 2000rpm as the cpu temp( not cores, the other) rises. It has to get quite high before hitting 2000rpm.

About the pump: you can undervoltage it and it will slow down. But it is no point in it, as the pump itself doesnt make mutch noice and you can't undervolt it mutch before getting a ticking sound. That happens about 800rpm. Im not sure if you can put more voltage at the pump making it run higher than 1400rpm...

So what you should do if you dont get good enough performance is to put on another fan and do push-radiator-pull.

Edit: You can not monitor the speed of the fan, so you have to listen to it to see if it working when the temp goes up
