Hey everyone,
So I installed the H105 into my 350D last night and placed it at the front of the case because it doesnt fit at the top, anyway I turned it on to test it out and its been making a rather annoying and loud buzzing sound ever since, I tried to change where it was plugged into my mobo but it makes no difference and its currently plugged into CPU_OPT. I have also set the fans on the case to DC rather than PWM which helps the noise go down a bit so I am pretty sure it is something to do with voltage. More volts = more noise.
I read online that it may be an air bubble so I tried moving it around a bunch but again made no difference, I also heard it may be because the pump is being given less volts than it needs, but this makes no sense to me because it comes with a 3 pin connector so it should'nt be getting any less than 12V? I have also heard its just the mechanical noise and its normal but I used to have a H55 and NEVER had any noise come from it.
If anyone has any clue as to what might be wrong and a fix for this, please let me know! I already had buzzing issues with my last CPU cooler and a PSU I replaced so this extra buzzing is annoying.
For reference this is the kind of noise coming from the cooler and the orientation of the CPU cooler: THIS IS NOT MY VIDEO and THIS IS NOT MY IMAGE
