h100i Pump Dead?

Hi all,

This is my first post so please be gentle ;)

I purchased a H100i for my PC to replace my ageing H80.

Delivery was good and quick and installation was quick and painless.
I connected the Sata Cable to the H100i Sata connector but didn't (forgot) connect the the fan cable to the motherboard because I have a fan controller and wanted to set the Fan speeds manually (H100i is set to push pull).

I then turned my PC off because I wanted to do some cable management and noticed that I forgot to plug the H100i fan cable into the motherboard.
I should also mention that I disconnected the fans from the fan controller and connected them to the H100i directly via the included fan connectors.

I turned the machine on and all of a sudden that the Corsair Logo flashed green very quickly and disappeared and the fans stopped spinning after about 3 seconds.

Once in Windows the Corsair Commander software wont recognize the device and I can't do a manual firmware upgrade as it says device not connected.

I have now ordered a Noctua DH-14 and waiting for delivery and have written to Corsair for an RMA.

Can anyone suggest any alternative solutions?
