Recently fitted my Corsair h100i to my h440 to find the screws on the cooler had protruded into the rad fins not causing a leak or nothing however being the first cooler i have had i kind of got a bit paranoid and took it back and luckily managed to get a replacement. Just out of curiosity has anyone else had this issue i seen a bunch of threads on the corsair forum saying its a common problem just curious if anyone on here has had the same issue :(. Guess i will have to go out and purchase some washers because corsair support said it was myself to blame :(.

Yeah it was your fault lol. Cases are all different shapes and sizes dude they cant make a different screw for each one.

You didnt need to take the old one back tbh. But its situations like this that drive prices up for everyone else.....

Aye as the guv said you are at fault for that one, sould of slapped some washers on fella. Im sure you're not the only person who has done that though

My bad :(. i honestly thought it would be fine with the screws just nipped up. I put 1 washer on but it didnt seem to raise it enough to stop it protruding into the fins :( . Lesson learnt though trip to wilko tomorrow for some washers or some shorter screws will hopefully do the trick :D. Apologies for contributing towards the price raise too :(.
