Hey folks, just bought a new case and unfortunatley my Havik 140mm is a little tall and presses against the side panel. So am considering getting the H100 as well as the Scythe Slipstreams. Would there be much cooling gain compared to a set of normal 25mm fans? Also would my new case support it Zalman Z9+

This i s a temporary case until i can buy the Bitfenix Shinobi XL

if you get a h100 id go for the new noctua nf-f12 they are very quiet you carnt hear them in ya case and they will do the job you want them to got them on my h100 and they are brilliant

the NF-F12s r great fans but 4 of them cost almost as the h100

Let me save you some money...

I have the H100 and was very worried about the reported noise levels; however, when the case is closed and I have the fan level on 1, I can barely notice it. When I play a game with sound, it's basically not even there. With the fan on the lowest settings, my CPU idles at 28 Celcius.

You don't need to get any additional fans for now. Wait to see.

The stock Corsair H100 fans aren't bad fans, and I wouldn't bother changing them for Sycthe Slipstreams as I think you would notice little/no difference. If you did wish to change your fans, I would look at the Noctua Focused Flow fans, or a cheaper alternative, Bitfenix Spectres, both nice fans and very quiet.

I ended up buying the H80 instead

Well normal fans are 25mm the slipstreams are 12mm. This would have been an ideal push pull solution but my case didnt have the right mounting holes. Just wondered how it would perform compared to a pull config

Push pull is only a few degrees difference.
