Gtx 760 4gb review, benchmarking?

Hello, this is my first thread so I apologize if I made a mistake of putting it here.

But as the title suggest has anyone some experience with the 4gb version of the gtx 760. Because I couldn't find any review or comparison to any other cards on the web, hoped you guys could help me out.

It's essentially just a GTX 760 with 2GB more VRAM which, in my opinion, shouldn't make much of a difference if you're only gaming on 1080p.

If you're gaming on higher resolutions, like 1440p or triple 1080p screens, you might just want to buy a quicker GPU like a 7970/280x (same price) or save up a bit more for a GTX 780.

Thanks, just the answer I needed. Not so familiar with what memory gives you on a GPU so I thought it might give more fps.

It's mainly just for textures. If you have high-res textures, more and quicker memory will come in handy but for 1080p 2GB is plenty. :)

These "mid range" cards with added memory, are designed to be priced just within the ceiling of the price range they'd consider those who worry about vram more than actual performance, can afford.

It's good marketing. Like the old 610GT with 2G, or 210GT with 2G or 9400GT with 2G.... why ?

When the price of the 760 pushes over or very close to a 770, for example check Scan's prices for both.

And continuing, if there were a 770 w/4g close to the price of the 780 - you get a 780, etc etc etc

What about a game like BF4 some are recommending 3 gb of vram so would a gtx780 3gb be better for that game than a gtx770 4 gb?

Battlefield 4 is a Never Settle title. Never Settle is from AMD. AMD has 3GB on most their higher end cards. AMD and EA are partnered....

Honestly don't think it's going to make a difference.

My GTX 690s @1600p maxed out on BF4 run a little bit faster than two of my 290Xs.

The GTX 690s only have 2gb per GPU.

But the difference here is that a gtx 690 has double GPU's on the PCB, has nothing to do with the memory available

That's... kind of the point. Still outperforms it while having 2GB memory. Meaning 2GB will serve you absolutely fine.
