GTA V Will support the Vulcan API?

That would be cool but i doubt it'll make a big difference since it'll be patched in. Just look at Bf4 for example. These new APIs need to be built into the engine to get the most out of the them.

Completely depends on the architecture of the engine and if the game is CPU bound.

I don't think it will be in at launch considering how new the API is though.

I won't argue with you, you know more about that anyone here.. but i can argue and say that BF4 isn't cpu bound;) I do highly doubt it'll be in at launch. So i guess it depends on the engine and we will see upon release

Nope. Not even out yet so the game won't be using it.. Plus DX12 is W10 only.

It is out in the technical preview of Windows 10 and the docs are live. Which I think is more than Vulcan at the moment? Still though we'd all need Windows 10 which of course isn't coming out for a while yet :)

Ok mr. smarty pants you know i meant W10 isn't out yet and therefore DX12 isn't either since it comes with it!^_^

There is a document for Vulkan (which is how Khronos want it to be spelled) called 'developer overview' that claims people like valve are developing open source tools for it already and that 'Initial specs and implementations expected this year'.
(PDF document source)

There's a GDC video with loads of key people in graphics for games talking about it, some very exciting stuff.
