The min specs are quite reasonable which to me says they actually did spend some time porting this over properly so it may turn out to be worth the wait.

Im actually glad to see a game dev making the effort to utilize a pc properly, i hate to see min specks of an i7 with gtx titan and 64gb of ram because ubi soft couldn't be bothered to port a game properly. "you could probably emulate the console to play the game at some of the min specs they recommend at times"

the reccomended specs are very low too, and for a change i fulfill the recommended (the cpu says it needs to be newer but my overclocked 2500k should be better than the recommended i5 any way. I would be very suprized if i can max it out though even with meeting the recommended specs.
Possibly understating req to get those extra sales in from the lower spec gaming pc users?

still haven't per-ordered and probably wont to be honest.
I will buy the game but think i will wait for a deal on kinguin or similar after the game has been out a while.
I haven't been convinced by all the release date push backs.

Still its looking very promising, lets just see if the specs for min and recommended turn out to be true. i would imagine they may need adjusting a bit for fluid frame rates even at 1080p. especially if we are adding online play to the min spec.
The 65gb disk space implies to me that the game files will be uncompressed to save on work load though so i guess it could be right.
i remember when doom 3 came out, we would decompress the game files and put them in named folders which drastically improved frame rates due to not having to do it on the fly.

The recommended specifications seem to be the standard these days. I'm sure that Witcher and a bunch of recent games recommended that. You do need a quad core cpu but seeing as one can be had for £50ish its not the end of the world.

So true, plus with the incoming DX12 it's a real game changer. Gaming this year is going to be epic, GTA V, Just Cause 3, Witcher III should keep us entertained until winter steam sales arrives then we can all cry at how much cheaper the games are.

I would agree with that, those 3 games are on my list to get. Also the trailer looks very nice in 60fps.
