Low system requirements, hopefully, translates to solid optimization. The game also looks interesting as well based on the embedded video.

TBH most games that recommend 16 usually barely use more than 8GB.

In most systems, it would be silly to recommend 12GB or 10GB these days, as most gaming PCs use dual-channel memory. 16GB is the next step up from 8GB when building a new PC.
