Just wanted to get this 'on the record' - I used to Waterchill my Radeon 9800XT with the standard GPU block. Then when I went PCIE I moved to a BFG7800GT OC and there wasn't a lot of information around about whether the block would fit on... Sure enough, when I took the HS&F off, it had tiny holes which weren't in the right place
, although I eventually CNC'd a holding plate which worked fine.
However, for various reasons I upgraded to an EVGA 7900GS this week, and when I took the heatsink off that - CELEBRATION ! They have added additional large holes alongside the standard small NVIDIA ones. :worship:
Pictures to come, although it was night-time so they are a little blurry!
