So here's the deal... When I first built my computer, I was all into trying games and mods with insane graphics, and also doing more "hardcore" gaming with super high FPS and all that stuff...
But lately however, I have been enjoying one of the things I wanted with a gaming computer in the first place... I wanted to just get any new game for my PC, play it with nice graphics and good/stable FPS, either with keyboard/mouse or Xbox 360 Controller on the PC (Got one now, it's nice for some games). I also got SP2500 speakers, so I can chill without a headset, and just the xbox controller! It's nice...
So it was all good and gravy like this for a couple of months, playing games and enjoying it, no PC problems, or driver problems with my 5850's, like I had a lot of before. And then I though "Hey! Let's install these new AMD CCC, drivers, and application profiles (crossfire profiles)", so then everything worked even better, better crossfire support for some games, and no blinking lights (a common crossfire glitch).
(rant part starts here.)
So, when the most recent update for AMD Drivers and CCC, I updated that and new application profiles, since the last update was so good..
Recently I got Ridge Racer: Unbounded, it's quite fun, and I played a couple of races before the update.. I then got the update, restarted and doing it all properly, doing the right settings in Catalyst and all that. Now I started up Ridge Racer just to chill a little bit, however, I get stable 50 FPS now, instead of 60, and it's very inconsistent.. Very annoying.. I could turn down the settings a bit, but this really isn't a very power demanding game, I think, so I don't wanna turn down the settings, doesn't feel right...
I will probably figure it out, I am just tired today, wanted to chill, and this really made me annoyed.
Any of you guys get random inconsistency like this, that doesn't make any sense at all?
Btw., sorry if my writing is messy and this is a very long text to read.. I'm kinda annoyed atm. Thanks if you took the time to read any of this though
