I will update this thread with volt mod pics, guides and other ways to mod your cards.

8800GTS 320/640, 8800GTX and ultra voltmods

Vddr mod:

Original voltage 1.81V

Solder vr from red point to ground. Tune down to increase voltage. With 5 Kohm vr voltage will be 1,86V

Vgpu mod:

Original voltage 1.26V idle it vdrops then loaded so OVP mod is needed

Connect variable resistor from red point to ground. Tune down and voltage will raise.

OVP mod:

Remove the three marked resistors to remove vdrop completely

This is crazy, I have been curious about benching lately. Why do people bench though? Do they do it for pleasure or do they gain something from it?
 
Epic. Been meaning to find some time to do my HD 5870 but just can't find the time nor reason to. Think my 5870 is rubbish anyway.

Hmm might need to update this thread with the unlimited MSI Afterburner version for vgpu soft mod for all the cards that support it
