What agp graohics card should I buy if I want to play css to the best of its ability? Also will my 2.8 p4 with 1 gig run it all ok to its best?

Your P4 should be ok although they're not the best chips. CSS doesn't need more than 1gig to play so your ok there.

A 7800GT/GS AGP is most likely your best bet

Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800GT 512mb found for £144 sounds good to me!

Is there naything else I could get to help with speeds etc.

Thanks

Thats not good. :(

I may look at building a gamer machine for CSS. XMS do you have some prices for 20 ppl servers?

Also what processor would you go for in a new build?

Thanks

Edit: Seams ganward have managed to botch up what they claim to be a 7800GT (the G70GT) chip on an agp board. but i wouldn't mind betting its actualy a overclocked 7800gs.

Edit 2: Thinking about it, are GS' just underclocked G70GT chips anyway?

I don't think I've ever heard it put like that, but that describes Dell computers to a "T" lol.

Yeah i think we should put that forward to them as their new slogan

"Dell - Taking the fun out of owning a PC"

Yea dell are pretty damn boring. you could build a machine capable of running CSS for fairly cheap really. Then spend the money on a damn nice mouse and keyboard

I have the best PCI-E 478 board ever, the Asus P4GD1, but they are outta production, and hella rare... If you wanna have a butchers and maybe try and find a used one (they aren't cheap, and impssible to buy) heres Asus' page on it: Click
