Hey,
So i currently have an Samsung Series 3 TV (I think) and the colour is pretty bad but that's not my main problem. It's that everything seems a little bit grainy and text seems a bit distorted and hard to read. I've tried configuring settings to get the TV as clear and colorful as possible but i think i've reached it's limits. Is their anything that i might be doing wrong? Its annoying that this 5 year old 1080p TV is worse than my 8-9 year old 1440x900 monitor in both colour and clarity. Also, something strange is that when i turn the resolution down to 1360x768 i get no problems with grainyness/clarity.
If there's nothing that can be done i will go back to using it as a TV and buy a new monitor. Any suggestions?
Things i would need in a monitor if i need one:
I think that's it, i'm not too bothered about viewing angles as i'm never looking at it from a slant anyway
Thanks for any replies that you may give

Things i would need in a monitor if i need one:
Decent Colour
1080p
Clear sharp text
<24" (preferably 23")
Fairly cheap too
