GPU power outputs

Has anyone seen any data on the thermal output of GPU's. I have found bits and pieces on CPU's but never anything on the graphics side of things. On the whole its pretty boring stuff but I always find a little surprise when I read these technical specs and take something away. Basically trying to decide on my GPU water loop for my new case. If it makes any difference Im interested in 6600gt, 7900gt and 8800gts.

Sorry what I mean is for example the e6600 gives out around 70 something watts of power from memory that your cooling system must deal with. I have seen these figures bantered about when people are using thermal die simulators for testing cooling kit. I have no idea on the GPU figures though. If I know these I can save hassle of testing with various setups for a balance of power and silence.

For a very rough estimate. 1DegC = 1 Watt.

This is VERY rough however as it depends on properties the material generating the heat.

Also when you see someones temps at 45 or whatever, its not putting out 45watts. The heatsink will be removing alot of the energy, and dependet on the HS it could be giving out 100watts.

Edit: reading that ive realised it wasnt much help atch...

Okay thanks. I think I understand. I was wondering if the extreme PSU values of power required are comparable to heat dissipated. Its too late at night for this anyway. I'll resume my pondering tomorrow, thanks for the info.
