GPU Dilemma

Hey guys and gals. I'm actually in a tight spot where I'm having problems picking a decent replacement as seen in my sig.

I was either thinking of a Dual GPU card or running SLI/CFX in the near future. I was really intent on getting 290X but then 3XX and Fury popped up and the whole HBM 1.0 issue that came up later.

STRIX cards also seem like an option since I want my WS to be as quiet as possible (it'll be turned running 24/7). Right now I'm waiting for HBM 2.0 so there's still plenty of time to decide on what I actually want and need.

Right now it all comes to down to Dual GPU card or two cards in an AIO solution if that's even possible?). I've never looked into water-cooling in general since I am a bit afraid of trying it out, so AIO kits are there for me instead.

I'm currently using the 350D case so my options are a bit limited. If anyone feels like pointing me in the right direction that'd be great :)

If video rendering is a big part of your needs, AMD is the better team due to core count. That is providing that your editing software supports Open CL over CUDA. Also waiting for more HBM cards is a good plan, that memory bandwidth will pack a punch when it comes to rendering.
Noise wise, the newer cards are pretty damn quite due to the power usage being a major part of recent GPU releases.
4K is great for workspace when working on images and videos, however, gaming has a long way to go before 4K is worth while. Yes there are games now natively compatible with 4K, however I believe 1440 is the area that most textures and visual porn are being aimed in the PC sector.
There's a few things to consider, personally I wouldn't like to make a straight out recommendation, but I'm sure there are plenty of people here that can.

I wouldn't contemplate dual cards on mATX without watercooling. A single serious card would be the way forwards IMO. Right now a 980Ti seems like the way :)
