got my a8n32-sli yesterday and running like a dream touch wood lol

done a few benches and my 3d mark 05 score went up by 430 marks

one thing i have seen though is my chipset temp is quite high 45c where as my cpu is 30c is that ok/normal thanks ind advance

That sound about right for a stock cooler.

Yep, thats what i was talking about.

My old NF4 chipset ran about 50 on the stock cooler. Then replaced it with a zalman spikey thing. Ran 40.

Full mobo out job. Witch was a giant pain for me cos of the watercooling.

Your temps are fine though, it wouldnt be woth the effort IMO.

kool this tuniq tower is the dogs like was running orthos for 4 hours before temp didnt get above 40c all i need is a little miniture one for the chipset lol

Correct me if im wrong but iirc if you replace the nbhs on that board you have to do the PWMS too.

If im worng check the front page for the HR-05 review

If you replace the NorthBridge Heatsink then you have to do the Power Management IC's too...cause they are one heatpiped heatsink

EDIT: The PWM heatsink is replaced on my DFI cause it got in the way of my apogee
