Google Rank - HELP OC3D!!!

Well I was just messing around on Google trying to see how easy it was to find us... and actually, not too bad!

If you type in "computer overclocking" we're on the first page.

If you type in "overclocking" we're on the 21st page... This is the rank we need to work on as this is probably what most commonly gets searched on google for good sites on overclocking.

Let's get it raised!

All i can say is "HOLY SHITE", i can't believe we are on the first page of google! Thats awsome! No other sites i've ever created have been there!!!

We do need to improve the overclocking one tho...how we gonna do that....

I think the best way to get it raised is by "click-throughs"

Everyone needs to go to google, type in "overclocking" go to the 21st page, and click through to SX using the google link. That makes google think we're more recognized for that keyword and raise our rank. We need tons of unique IP's to click through though!

google work as a keyword engine (looks for keywords present in sites /site meta data) and then ranks the search firstly by paid 'sponsors' (a site we all know did this for a while cost $##### tho) and then ranks thos pages by the count of sites and the importance of those sites that have links to this site (plus keywords relevant relevant keywords in the context of that site) ... my suggestion join other forums and have this in your sig or to provide links to threads here to help peeps qs ;

i fold for www.sysxtreme.com (or that URL disguised by a cover name eg sysxtreme or team 43461) ... i do on this forum

Ehhhh.... I just double checked this dave, we're still on page 21

I think what you saw was a link to XS not SX, there is one of those on page 20.
