Good ram to match new cpu

Word is that the sticks made with D9 chips are the ones to look for. Off the top of my head i can only name Crucial Ballistix..

I've got these, and while not overclocked yet, have been rock solid for me.

These would suit you i reckon if you want to clock.. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Well. At the point of purchasing, I got a 4x1 kit of Dominator memory to go with the QX9650, and relied on some elpida stockish memory for the Q6600.

Thing is, at the point of assembly, the IX38 didn`t like giving the extreme multiplier to the QX9650, so it was being clocked similar to the Q6600.

Now, I have a bios that allows the QX9650 multiplier to be massaged alot more.

Thing is, this negates the requirement for the expensive ram on the QX9650 pc. Seeing as I can set the clock to 333 if I want to and change the multiplier, the good ole elpida stockish stuff will work well with it.

On the otherhand, moving the Dominator memory to the Q6600 will be a more sensible move as the multiplier is often x9, and I have managed to get the clock to around 533.

So tbh, I wouldn`t bust the bank in getting memory to go with the QX9650, just something known to be solid good performers.

Crucial Blaistix PC5300.

Cheap as and will overclock beyond the stock of the much more expensive kits.

I run mine 24/7 @ 1066ish and run quite happily at 1200 for benching. never needed higher...
