Probably just a typo.

As for the X51? not to my taste but there's no denying it's a tiny rig that packs a lot of power when fitted with a 3770 and a 660.

Intel HD 3000 do not count, there are like no games you can play with them

Again, Eh?

None of the X51s come without a GPU. Have you even taken the time to have a look? The cheapest model comes with a GT 640 and the higher end models come with a GTX 660.

On Ebay you can get the 3770 model with a GTX 660 and 8gb ram for £700. I priced up a Bitfenix Prodigy rig with identical parts for £735.

Not that they're really comparable given that the Alienware is no bigger than an Xbox 360. That's an awful lot of power packed into a tiny case. Which is the whole point of the X51. Large bullish gaming systems are just not that desirable any more and people just don't want them. It's partly why they ceased selling the Area 51.

Ooh, this has potential for heated debating!

(As for my bias, I am on the side of facts. Now I just need to find out what the heck they actually are )

But yeah, it's probably just a typo anyway. These things happen.

I can agree. But some do not have the confidence to build their own pc because they do not realize how simple it is. So they must resort to buying a prebuilt.

well as long as they don't talk smack about how great their GT640 gaylienware is, i don't care much. still sad.

Originpc.com is all the original Alienware guys.
I am sad for anyone who falls for the dell crapware...

Is true yes. Have you seen their prices?

I'm not going to get into a debate about this as there's nothing much to argue about really. Dell are the most powerful company that make computers on earth and there's a reason for that. They obviously do something right.

Funny, didn't see any one complaining when there was a competition on here to win one of their laptops.
