Just stuck in a new dvd drive to replace my sony jobbie. The Sony DVD drive was one of those generic ones used by Sony, NEC and I think LiteOn and was bloody loud, slow and temperamental (which a lot of people have)
This however, is working a treat
Its practically inaudiable on DVD playback at the moment. Will give reading and writing with it a whirl before I go out later. Fast forward and Rewind in WMP11 works great and playback is perfectly smooth, especially compared to the last one.
Usually I wouldn't post to big up a purchase I've made but I know a lot of people are unhappy with their DVD drives but dont want to risk getting another crap one so thought I would give this one a public thumbs up
