Gigabyte's RX 580 Aorus XTR has been pictured

Nope, even those photos don't make it look very appealing.

Edit. And what the hell is with these pics lately? WTF is the logic behind them?

"Oh I think I will just take my graphics card out into the garden and set it down in the blades of grass because it will be at one with nature!".

Chuff off. This is getting ridiculous now.

"I think I will take a pic of my GPU out in the grass to get a good idea of how it will look inside a metal box!"

Is that a wrist band that they've included? I hope it's not there to wipe the sweat away from the heat it generates, I really hope these cards are cooler and quieter I really do

Looks like trash and i bet they still run just as hot as the older 400 series GPU's

And that's why i will not touch another AMD GPU's.

If your definition of hot is in the 70C range, newsflash, nvidia cards run in that range to.
Honestly do you even realize what you say most of the time? Like c'mon you know better than that dude

I actually like the design. I see most people don't but each there own:)

What you say is true NBD I had some notifications the other day that my 980 Ti had gone over 81c it was easy to fix but still the point remains they are about par "Depending" now between the green and red for heat

And just to clarify my statement above, the wrist band = Joke, and the hope they run cooler=well you have to admit even some of the aftermarket cards were hotter than they should have been

You being serious. There are loads of aftermarket coolers that keep the 480 in the 70-75 range with an OC (XFX and sapphire included). Check your facts mate.

The design is your opinion but I don't think it looks "trash" either.

I don't mind if people don't like AMD gpus, but at least have a factual(or bad experiences) reason other than just ignorance because you can't think of anything else. If people do that on this forum, I will call them out. Unfortunately for someone, that seems to be a lot. Lol:p
(for the record, I am aware he had "bad" experiences w/AMD. But being blind about it is a different manner)

AMD cards run at equal temps compared to their Nvidia comparable card. Now the lower end market stuff from both I'd wager the Nvidia cards are less hot due to less power draw, but really you'd be arguing over something that is probably not even in the mid 60C range, so at that point, you have to ask yourself. Does it matter anymore with this stuff? I'd say no.

Yeah I hear what you're saying, I had a pair of 7970's and for the money they were flipping pretty good cards and a mate of mine has only just changed from his pair and he still talks about how good those cards are still today let alone when they first came out
But both camps have released cards with some manufacturers using S***TY coolers and lets face it they aren't doing anyone any favours
