Out all of the UEFI BIOS's on the P67/Z68 boards that is the worst looking GUI out of them all, it looks like a kids touchscreen Vtech. The touchscreen is a bit of a gimmick IMO and you need a compatible monitor to use it.

Yeh I cant see it becoming a common thing, I imagine there would be like 3 monitors that stores don't stock that would support it, I found it on the gigabyte official site. I think its more just a prototype, It would be good in touch screen Point of Sale systems though.

It's on the all the new Z68 Gigabyte boards. UFEI is good in the way you can edit the settings more easily and it being more user friendly for people who look at a normal BIOS and think "OMG what is this?" but this version just seems a bit to much over simplified with the big icons and and bright colors. I think Asus has the best UEFI BIOS, they haven't gone with all these large icons and kept it pretty basic and not to flashy whilst still being easy to use. If you already have a touch screen monitor I suppose it's something to have a bit of a play with but there isn't much depth to it.

I used to work for an EPOS company so I was using touch screens everyday and I would nearly always plug in a mouse for just about any job that would keep me at the terminal for longer than about 40 seconds.

Touch screens are great for the first 5 minutes the first time you use them and then they get reaaaalllyyyyy annoying, IMHO.
