- Supporting SATA and PCIe 4.0 x4/x2 SSDs

Supporting those devices is different from being able to utilize pci-e 4.0 speeds, and as the interconnect from the chipset to the cpu is pci-e 3.0 on all b550 chipsets, you can put a pci-e 4.0 drive in there sure, and it will run but with 3.0 speeds.
