HI there, I've finally joined the forums.
I've been around here for quite a while as a "guest" reading through the posts when I needed information on problems/builds/component choices. It has taken until now to register, mainly due to the fact that I'm never sure how much use I can be to anybody else. I guess I will just experiment and find out.
A bit about myself: Late 30's & heavily into PC gaming (don't play well with others so mainly single player, I'm a self confessed loot-whore-ninja). Happily get my hands dirty when fixing and modding. Unfortunately for me, funds are always the bottom line, so any mods/upgrades are due to necessity rather than pleasure.
My primary Win7 PC at home is:
M-ITX Fractal Design Node 304
Gigabyte H87N-WFI MB
Intel 1150 CPU i5 4670 (not K as H series MB)
8GB 1600 MHZ RAM
240Gb Samsung 840 SSD for boot and main games/programs
2x1TB WD Black HDD's for storage
1GB XFX HD6950 - slight oc to 880MHz/1375MHz (needed v boost) with unlocked HD6970 shaders
