Any confirmation it works?
Myself and Kilbane went nuts with the benches last night there is a notable difference with quad core i5s as he uses the i5 4690K and no longer gets the learching lag and random CTD and is able to push higher settings, I on the other hand with the i7 4790K still suffer the lags and judders which we've nailed down to CPU usage when the foliage detail is set higher than "high", I can push Ultra with everything but foliage detail and it is buttery smooth.
The only thing I can liken it to is the lag you used to get with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series and the prefetch issue the XRay engine had when drawing dense vegetation.
Vehicles now feel wieghty and choppers have an auto level before moving forward.
We will continue to report our findings as we go.

My settings which are pretty much all maxed out with Bloom, DoF, Blur disabled and Vegetation Detail at High.
Take from this what you will but Ubisoft still have work to do no doubt but you can play very comfortably and it still looks glorious. The bench could use more content if I'm honest including vehicle chases and NPCs here and there it's a bit sparce IMHO.
