Yeah ubisoft is doing pretty good at increasing there PC reputation with solid games and performance(including lack of bugs). Hopefully this game continues that trend

I've been seeing some incredibly poor performance from the Beta. I can't back it up as I haven't tested it myself, but some with 6700K/1070-type systems can't get 30 FPS at 1080p with max settings. To hit a consistent 60 FPS they have had to reduce the settings down to medium. Pretty much conjecture at this point as I found it in the comments on a YouTube video...

Yup that sounds like a modern game alright..

Blame the consoles, it's their fault.

It does look incredible, though, from the videos. The viewing distances and scenery is amazing. Definitely not what it appears to be drawing graphically, but it at least does look better than Mafia III. It reminds me of MGSV, which was pimps to run and looked pretty damn good.

Usual Ubisoft Rule of Thumb, never play their games at Very high or Ultra settings, use High. There are a few exceptions that play well, but remember that they design most of their games for 30FPS on consoles.

It's basically unplayable for me. The frame dips are too intense and too often, like every other second. This is without VSync and frame limit on. To me it seems like there's some bug causing it rather than the entire game being unoptimised.

I have noted that Pascal performs a lot better than Maxwell, very demanding game. Expect to see my full performance report later today.
