So I was thinking the other day how much I hate the noise my graphics card creates (Gainward Golden Sample GTX 260). Previously I had purchased an Arctic Cooling GTX cooler, but it simply wouldn't fit because the end plate has a small lip on it that stop the backplate and thus, the heat sink lining up. Not to be deterred I figured I could simple mod the Golden Sample cover and retro fit the fans from the Arctic Cooling cooler...

DUST MAGNET:
Check out that ninja cable tidying... Wait, where?
Boom Town Power house:
Right, let's get down to business. Firstly I had to rummage around for the Arctic Cooling piece, hidden in my "computer" cupboard. After finding this and spending like, ten minutes trying to get the damn thing open, I was presented with this beautiful sight:
Wish I could fit this, check out those TEN heatpipes!:
So, after prizing the top of the Arctic Cooler off, I unscrewed the Gainward cover off:
Cover:
Fairly decent Gainward heatsink:
After cutting some little bits off, I found that the top part of the Arctic Cooling literally would clip onto the Gainward heat sink.
SORTED!
